Read the web without the web
Fetch a page and read it as clean text in the app. Follow links from inside the reader, or search and jump between results — the browsing happens in a space built for reading, not engagement.
Capture as you read
When a source matters, capture it: OSMI formats the citation as APA or BibTeX and files it in your library. No copy-pasting metadata fields by hand.
A library that stays yours
Citations live locally in ~/.osmi with the rest of your work — searchable, exportable, and never on anyone's server.
In research
This is the front door of the research suite: read sources in the reader, cite them as you go, then carry them into Literature Review entries — which can be auto-filled by AI from the very page you captured.
